Andrea Norby is an editor based in Los Angeles. Her commitment to the vision of a script and the experimentation and precision necessary to craft the most emotionally resonant work has led her to be a trusted collaborator in film and commercial, including as an additional editor to directors Andrew Dominik, Sean Durkin, Kim Gehrig, Boots Riley, and Harmony Korine.

Andrea began editing in 2005 after she was gifted a camcorder she saw on a television commercial. She studied Film-TV-Digital Media and Writing at TCU in Fort Worth, Texas and began her career as an assistant for Wild Bunch Distribution at the Cannes Film Festival in 2014. She has worked on over 400 ad campaigns and cuts commercials for Wieden+Kennedy, Media Arts Lab, Droga5, Google Creative Lab, and The Richards Group. See list of work here.
From 2020 to 2022, Andrea was an additional editor on Blonde, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival. She also worked on AGGRO DR1FT and Barrio Triste, both produced by Harmony Korine's EDGLRD and premiered at the Venice Film Festival. She was the additional editor on A24's The Iron Claw and has spent 2024-2025 working on I Love Boosters for Neon.
