Known for her editing work on films and commercials alike, Andrea brings a sharp and thoughtful eye to performance, montage, and complex visuals. Her attunement to the vision of the script, the roots behind its ideas, and the experimentation and precision needed to craft the most emotionally resonant work has led her to be a trusted editing collaborator in both the film and commercial worlds.
Andrea graduated with a degree in Film and a minor in Writing from TCU in Fort Worth, Texas, beginning her career as an assistant for Wild Bunch Distribution at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. She trained as an assistant editor in commercial editorial, working on over 400 ad campaigns with agencies including Droga5, Google Creative Lab, Johannes Leonardo, Media Arts Lab, and Wieden & Kennedy before shifting to feature film in 2020.
Andrea worked as an additional editor for 2 years on Blonde, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival in 2022. Most recently she worked as an additional editor on The Iron Claw and AGGRO DR1FT, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival in 2023.
Andrea has a deep appreciation for the research and development directors invest into their projects. During pre-production, she often reviews relevant texts and books and amasses hundreds of archival images to create treatments. She is also an AfterEffects compositor and has been an integral part in shaping the visual effects of many of her films and commercials.
